Oscar, Petra and Islay resting!
“We’ve had a really great day at the beach today, but we are exhausted now.”
Oscar, Petra and Islay are all seen chilling out on the rug in front of the fire at The Old Church after a hard day playing.
“The beach is the best place ever!” say Baxter and Pearl

Baxter and Pearl really love just walking out of the door of the house and having all the woodland at the Clan Donald centre to play in.

“Sometimes if we are really lucky we go in the car to the forest at Leiter Fura up the road near the Kinloch Estate.”
“What happened the year you came up and your family were out on a boat a lot.”
“During the day we went to stay with a brand new friend, Karen at Aird Kennels,” says Baxter. (check out http://airdkennels.com/index.html).
“We had never been to kennels before,” says Pearl, “and we couldn’t believe what brilliant fun it was making lots of new human and dog friends, going for walks.”
“They were generally spoiled. It was a perfect solution, we all got to holiday together but the dogs were happy, safe and cared for while we (the humans) did what we wanted,” explains owner Carole Cameron.
Jack and Dexter are both Springer Spaniels, what more can I say!

A very enjoyable week, cant believe its our fourth visit!  Loved all the alterations.  Hope to be back again soon.

The Old Church is a remarkable house - we all loved it and it was perfect for all the men to get changed into their kilts! It certainly is a home from home - and we were very lucky with the weather, especially for people who hadn't been to Skye before. We were amazed to see two roses in bloom in your garden!

FAB time on Skye. The house was lovely, v comfortable, all home comforts.

Had an absolutely wonderful time and catered for everything we could possibly think of in the accommodation. See you next year.

I just wanted to let you know what a brilliant time we had in Skye at Old Church and congratulate you for what you have done with the house. We loved it. Reading your description of the house and the tone of what you wrote made us keenly anticipate our visit and the reality didn't disappoint.

Just a wee note to say thank you so much for our wonderful holiday in the old church. The house is amazing & you have thought of everything ! I on the other hand forgot to write a wee note in your visitors book but I did put a review into trip advisor saying how wonderful the place was.

We have got some lovely pictures to remind us of our stay, and the Old Church helped make the time spent there very memorable.

.. we are totally in love with your place!! You've done an amazing job!! It is soooo beautiful!

Lovely homely accommodation. Pet friendly which is a definite plus. Kitchen equipped extremely well which was great for me as I love to cook!

We are now home after a very happy holiday in your very nice house. We were very comfortable and warm and everything went well. As you said, we had enough cutlery and plates for lots of people so on alternate evenings, we all had dinner at The Old Church.

Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time in Skye over New Year. The Old Church was a lovely place to spend time in and fullfilled our needs perfectly - we all loved it! We couldn't have asked for better, being just a stones through from the pub and the local shop

We had a wonderful time in the cottage last week. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and the area is lovely.
