Colgrain Holiday CottageWelcome

"Thank you for visiting our web site.

We are very pleased to welcome you and hope that you like what you see. Last spring we traveled for the first time along the Sleat Peninsula - understandably known as "The Garden of Skye". We were amazed at the difference in the scenery from the rest of Skye. It is truly beautiful and we felt we just had to explore it further. We love the peace and tranquility of Scotland and the feeling of being 'in the middle of nowhere'.

At the same time we also love to eat (and drink) out, especially if we can walk home! Places of interest, lovely walks, wildlife, time with friends and a local welcome are also high on our list of essentials. Our travels took us to the pretty village of Ardvasar, only a mile from the Ferry Terminal at Armadale. There we found everything we were looking for as a holiday area. We loved The Old Church the moment we stepped inside and so, here we are, proud new owners and very excited. If you like the same sort of things that we do we are sure it is worth your while to make the time to have a closer look at this site. We’d love to hear from you."
